Hello, I'm Cagdas Y. Pekcetin/ Synthofsynth, a freelance musician / sound designer from Türkiye
I've played as a keyboardist in cover bands for nearly 20 years in Istanbul and when the pandemia hit in 2020; I just decided to retire and continue my career & making music at home simply on my PC, which I find much more peacefull
My main interest is to re-create the iconic songs of 70's 80's 90's and of course todays music using various soft synths and samples
Currently using Fl Studio for music production,
2 midi controllers:
- Nektar Impact GX 61
- Arturia Minilab 3
I always avoid using original / copyrighted samples of any recording when making cover songs & sound design.
Afterall, that's what I really enjoy doing; re-creating those iconic sounds that I grew up listening..
